Privacy
How Desire KBD Design uses, protects and deletes the details you share with us.
Desire KBD Design, 34 Weyman Ave, New Rochelle, NY 10805, is responsible for the information collected through this website. For privacy questions or requests, contact info@DesireKBD.com or call 914 738-3736.
When you contact us, submit a project brief or request an appointment, we collect the information you provide: name, email address, phone number, project details, requested time and any additional comments. For private website analytics, we record an anonymous browser-session identifier, traffic source, campaign tags, pages viewed, broad active-time ranges and actions such as opening directions, calling, emailing or completing a form. After a session shows human activity, we derive an approximate city and region from the visitor's IP address. Desire KBD does not store the IP address, form contents or an identifying visitor profile in the analytics record. We do not ask for payment-card, Social Security or government-identification information through this website.
We use this information to answer your enquiry, arrange and manage consultations, prepare for your project, communicate with you and maintain an accurate record of the conversation. We do not sell personal information or use it for unrelated advertising.
We use service providers only as needed to operate the website and deliver the requested service. This can include our hosting and WordPress providers, our business email provider, Google Calendar when an appointment is added or reviewed, and ipapi for a one-time conversion of an IP address into an approximate city and region after human activity is detected. ipapi processes that lookup under its own privacy terms; Desire KBD stores the approximate city and region with the anonymous analytics session, not the IP address.
Our private analytics use a first-party session cookie that normally ends when the browser closes and a first-party returning-visitor marker kept for up to 180 days. These markers do not contain a name, email address, phone number or IP address. Clearing browser cookies resets them.
We keep enquiry, appointment and project-brief information for up to 24 months after the last meaningful interaction, unless a longer period is needed for a contract, accounting, legal obligation or dispute. Anonymous session-level analytics are retained for up to 180 days. Historical totals may be retained for longer as aggregated counts that cannot identify a visitor. When the applicable retention period ends, we delete or anonymize the information using reasonable measures.
You may request access, correction or deletion of your personal information by contacting us. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including restricted access, secure authentication and data minimization, to protect the information we keep.
